Receiver Gallery is the on-site arts exhibition space of Receiver, an interactive design company located in the Outer Mission district of San Francisco. Our goal is to provide a project space for local and national artists.
Founded in 2002, we opened our first gallery & design studio in the Inner Sunset neighborhood, and in June of 2006 we relocated to our current multi-use space located at Valencia and 25th streets.
Receiver Gallery is currently scheduled into 2009. We are not taking submissions at this time.

Jafön Hakkinen — Director
Born and raised in San Francisco, Jay founded Receiver Studio, an interactive design company, in 2002. He graduated from the University of Washington in Seattle and enjoys architecture, design, the arts and outdoor living.
Chris Pew — Co-Director & Curator
Chris Pew, owner and operator of Capsule9 Art & Design began curatoring art in 2003 for the high-end hair salon Cowboys and Angels. Having had experience in the showing of his personal art in the Bay Area and abroad for over eight years, a transition into art curation has been a natural one.
