About the Show

With Canceled Flight: 101 Tried and True pigeon Killin' Methods, author A.V. Jones has created an Anarchist Cookbook of comic relief for the worldwide pigeon_hating population. His 101 surefire methods for speeding a pigeon's journey to the grave are brilliantly illustrated with the help of more than 85 artists, whose works are presented in this traveling group show.

Featuring the art of Tiffany Bozic, Brendan Monroe, Dalek, kozyndan, Nago Richardis, Sirron Norris, Nate Van Dyke, Saiman Chow, Chris Pew, Honest, Paul Urich, David Choe, Ezra Li Eismont, Derrick Hodgson, Freddi C, GH, Marq Spusta, Peter Sutherland, Ferris Plock, Ryan McGinness, and Struggle Inc; and many other artists.

‘The Pigeon Show’ has previously shown in New York at The Reed Space, and continues on after Receiver Gallery in San Francisco, to Los Angeles' Lab 101 and Denver's Andenken Gallery.

Receiver, Evil Monito, and Puma (special thanks) are proud to present the San Francisco showing for the artists of this PUTP (People for the Unethical Treatment of Pigeons) approved book.

The author will be in attendance, and refreshments will be served.
